Lovelyz Chooses SNSD as its Role Model

Making its debut, Lovelyz talked about its role model.

On November 12, Lovelyz held its debut showcase at the K-Art Hall in Olympic Park, where the new girl group chose Girls′ Generation as its role model.

On this day, Lovelyz was asked what girl group it would like to be like. The group answered, “Our dream is to give bright energy for a very long time and not momentary enjoyment. Because we′re rookies that just made its debut, we want to follow after all the positive parts of our girl group seniors.”
Baby Soul then added, “The senior that we want to be like is SNSD. Our role model is SNSD. We′ll work hard.”

Lovelyz is Woollim Entertainment′s first girl group, an 8-member group with Yoo Ji Ae, Baby Soul, JIN, Lee Mijoo, Seo Ji Soo, Kei, Jung Ye In, and Ryu Soo Jung. Yoon Sang is in charge of the production of Lovelyz′s debut album. Lovelyz′s title song will be Candy Jelly Love, which is produced by Yoon Sang.

Lovelyz pre-released the song Good Night Like Yesterday on November 10 and will release its album on November 17. Seo Ji Soo, who has been swept by rumors, will be postponing activities and Lovelyz will promote as seven members for the time being.
